Due to the above, now more than ever good leadership is required in companies, where leaders must know the needs of their collaborators and put themselves in their shoes, trying to perceive what they may be facing.

To achieve leadership that facilitates this process of change, the following aspects must be considered:

Every good leader cares that his team members constantly take on new challenges; For your collaborators, your knowledge and experience will be more valuable if you share it with them, since this can motivate and inspire them and allow them to have more confidence in you.

Learn to listen to them as you can also learn from them. Having feedback from time to time is good because it improves the relationship and greater understanding arises between the collaborators. Start talking less and listening more.

Do you really know them? It is not only about meeting work goals, it is also good to take the time to get to know your collaborators, listen to them, know their needs, what they feel, and know their career goals; and thus be able to help them.

Recognizing and thanking the work of others is very good, since this will make them have more initiative and you will validate that they are doing their tasks well.

To be a good leader you must first be able to lead yourself, having control over your thoughts and emotions. The optimism and enthusiasm that you inject at work will motivate your collaborators.

For a team to achieve and sustain high performance, it needs to build balance. Unfortunately many teams, in order to achieve goals in the short term, make costly sacrifices that affect motivation, relationships and work environment, and as a consequence, their results, productivity and performance in the long term.

To achieve high levels of performance in your work team, it is important to consider that:

They must be able to have time for work, training and rest. Having time to carry out healthy and restful activities, in which they release stress and recharge energy, will increase their emotional capacity at work. Therefore, if there are no these small spaces, it is when the lack of concentration and irritability increases.

Empathy is essential. When there is trust, people feel that their team is a safe space in which they can admit their mistakes, apologize and ask for help, at the same time that they feel free to share their ideas, propose solutions and unleash their potential.

In this way, all the collaborators and the leader will have greater confidence since they will feel more honesty and transparency in the team.

Recognizing the achievements of each of the team members will make them feel more valued and increase productivity. As well as assertive communication is essential when giving feedback.
