ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The world has to make a dramatic shift towards the use of renewable energy in the next decade. The effects of global climate change are beginning to be more than evident to the vast majority of people.

It is very important to understand that climate change does not mean that temperatures will rise a little and that we will have to adjust to living with more heat or paying for air conditioning. No, the planetary changes due to this warming can be so catastrophic that they completely disrupt the lives of human beings, to the point of meaning the end of civilization.

Many people, particularly young people, are becoming aware that this means that we have to do everything necessary to stop this warming; turning towards renewable energies, such as solar, wind, hydraulic, oceanic, geothermal, bioenergy and towards electric transport, as well as consistently applying energy saving technologies.

The development of humanity and the concern to improve the quality of life has led to continuous technological innovation, which has had among its consequences the intensive use of fossil fuels. An average of 80% of the energy consumed in the world comes from this type of fuel that produces greenhouse gas emissions, which produce the annoying climate changes that we experience daily.

However, it is important to highlight that Mexico, as a member state of the international community, adheres to international treaties, since it is clear that in recent times and for a decade now we have experienced disastrous climate changes and their terrible consequences.

Polluted air prematurely kills 800 people every hour on the planet. In America, more than 300,000 people die each year from poor air quality. Our entire body, from head to toe, is affected when we inhale poisonous gases that circulate in the air of our cities and countryside. There is no region on Earth that is free of this disease, which causes a quarter of all cases of stroke, lung cancer and heart disease.

Motor transport is one of the sectors that is already working on the implementation and adaptation of local and international standards to mitigate the effects of global warming.

Measures for the protection of the environment

  • Pure forests – One of the first measures for the conservation of nature is to keep the vegetation of the forests healthy; because they are the ones that indispensably contribute to the life of all species with pure air, water purification and many other benefits.
  • Products free of non-recyclable packaging – When shopping, put on your list of preferences those products that do not come in polluting packaging; remember that it is best to recycle.
  • Recycled paper - Prefer the use of recycled paper, the trees will be happy.
  • Bottled water – If you are one of those who consumes bottled water, you can use glass or plastic, as both are recyclable materials.
  • Button batteries - Forget it! These batteries have a large proportion of mercury, causing 500,000 liters of purified water to become contaminated for each battery; if you must use them, store them in the garbage cans.
  • Sort garbage – To collaborate with the protection of the environment; nothing better than using different garbage containers depending on what you store, that is, for paper and cardboard; for batteries, for glass and for organic waste.

    Hello
We are GRS Engineering and we would like to be able to participate in helping Pitic in its contribution to the environment.
We have a Slovakian system capable of transforming the burned oil of the tractor trucks into Diesel ready for recycling, if possible, send me an email to provide information, I will appreciate it
