After a year of contraction in sales, courier and parcel shipping companies such as Redpack, Estafeta, DHL, Fedex, UPS and others in the sector resumed their growth.
According to the INEGI Monthly Survey of Services, the income from the provision of the service of the local courier and parcel transport subsector had an increase of 2.3 percent last year compared to 2015, when they reported a drop of 2.3 percent.
"We see that the national market is growing due to e-commerce and retail, shipments of electronics, textiles and others are increasing significantly in Mexico," said Edmundo Vergara, general director of Redpack.
