The industrial sector is in a high degree of motivation thanks to the arrival of direct investment capital to the national market, but the logistics infrastructure scheme available in Mexico is worrying, considered the general director of the company Mexproud Shipping, Antonio Vargas Vázquez.

Faced with the establishment of new automotive plants in different parts of the Republic, the director of the cargo agency company through the different modes of transport, warned about the need to establish an infrastructure development strategy that, according to his opinion, is currently deficient.

The logistics infrastructure scheme is worrying: road, port and rail infrastructure, mainly because the demand that is being demanded in foreign trade can lead to surpassing the current infrastructure we have.

He added that this should not escape the main objectives of the government now that the National Development Plan is being designed, because, he affirmed, the current scheme proposes a system with no inputs or outputs.

“What happens to us with traffic in Mexico City or in large cities, where large congestions are generated, if we ground it in the logistics process, both ports, highways and railways, we see that there is a great need for greater capital income in that infrastructure".

He called for reflection and proposed making a "lost fund" investment by the government to increase this base of logistics processes.
